1. Introduction

   1. We process personal data that is obtained during a visit to our website and mobile application in accordance with Act No. 101/2000 Coll. on personal data protection and also according to the Personal Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

   2. This document applies to users of BeehiveScale mobile applications and (or) websites (hereinafter referred to as the “Application”).

2. Who collects your personal data?

   1. Your personal data is collected by Ing. Tomáš Juřena, who runs the BeehiveScale mobile application and website.

   2. We process your personal data as an administrator, i.e. we determine how and for what purpose and for how long the personal data will be processed.

3. What data do we collect?

   1. We collect the following personal data that you have provided within the Application: first and last name, email, IP address, your activity within the Application. The data is collected for the purpose of providing the service.

   2. To create your account, you must provide at least the following information: name and email.

4. What is the legal basis for data processing?

   1. We will process the data specified in point 3.1. and point 6.1. in order to provide you with a service (the right to access and use the Application).

5. Will the data be shared with third parties?

   1. We will not share your data with third parties unless: we have a legal obligation to do so, we have your consent, it is necessary to share the information for the purpose of investigating, preventing or taking measures related to illegal activities, suspected fraud, situations involving a potential threat to physical security of any person, violation of the terms of service or as required by law. We may also share your information with our service providers.

6. How long will the data be stored?

   1. We store the data specified in point 3.1. if we will provide the Services to you in accordance with the Terms, in particular if you have an account on the Platform. For the avoidance of doubt, you may delete all data associated with your account, except for your name and email (noting that we cannot keep your user account active without this information).

7. Where do we store data?

   1. We process data exclusively in the European Union or in countries that ensure an adequate level of protection based on the decision of the European Commission.

8. What security measures do we have?

   1. To protect your data, we have implemented security measures in accordance with applicable laws and best practices. We protect your data against possible security incidents, but we cannot guarantee that such incidents cannot occur.

9. What rights do you have in connection with the protection of personal data?

   1. You have a number of rights in connection with the protection of personal data. If you wish to exercise any of these rights or wish to file a complaint, please contact us via email at jurenatomas@gmail.com .

   2. According to the GDPR, you have the right to:

      • information that we have complied with this page with the Personal Data Processing Policy
      • access to your personal data
      • requesting correction of incorrect, inaccurate or incomplete personal data
      • request to delete personal data if they are no longer needed or if their processing is illegal
      • object to the processing of your personal data for marketing purposes
      • deletion (to be forgotten) if you no longer want us to process your personal data, we will delete all your personal data at your request, unless they are bound by another law (e.g. registration of tax documents)

   3. In certain cases, we may ask you to provide information to confirm your identity. For example: clicking on a verification link, entering a username or password.

10. Cookies

    1. In the case of a visit to our website, we record the IP address assigned by your provider, the website from which you visit us, the individual pages of our website visited and the date and duration of your visit in a standard way. The purpose of saving cookies in your browser is to facilitate your orientation and movement on our website during repeated visits. Only the cookie on your computer is identified.

11. Where can you turn?

    2. If you suspect that we are not handling your data in accordance with the law, you have the right to contact the Office for Personal Data Protection at any time with your complaint. We would appreciate it if you could inform us as a matter of priority so that we can correct this error as soon as possible to the satisfaction of both parties.

These principles of personal data processing are valid from 1 August 2023.
